Back to blog! hohoho..
Last week was very stretching time for me esp during the camp! lol..
It's my 1st time in-charge of hospitality as a main comm..
Hmm.. I can say is a good experience for me and a tiring roles.. lol.. But i really thank God for everything in the camp to run smoothly and well from the people..
Even though we experience black out on the 1st day, the people is cooperative and willing to withstand the hotness in the camp.. :D
I really wanna to thank god for the rest of e main committee for everything. Without them, we cant have the programme flow and everything prepared for teachings, worship and workshops.. :D :D
The other person is Uncle Chris!! He helped us alot in accommodation, food, housekeeping, the hall area.. He even treated us with the sprite for free on the last day of camp!! :D He tries to provide us with the best.. thank god for him!
this camp was really stretching for me.. I had only 12hour of sleep from thurs to sun and I can still be alert.. lol.. It's my 1st time too for not eating for the whole day without feeling hungry.. hahahaha.. now i agree with the statement of being too busy till u forget that u need to eat..
I like this camp alot as it trained me to be more of a servant of God, humble and other-centredness. Think of their needs, their concern and wants.
One great things I learn from my roles is that not to please people but to please god.. ;)
It also enlarge my heart for people.. I know alot of people too throughout this camp.. I get to know the main committee well and get to spend time with them planning and ensuring the camp work well.. :) I learn alot through the camp.. what is contemporary generation.. through the workshop of fashion/tattoo and Chinese rites/rituals..
I love this camp! :D
